Staff development is considered to be an essential aspect of the working lives of all staff at the College.
Staff development days are held three times each year and give an opportunity for staff to share in the vision and
direction of the College, and to keep up to date with current educational issues.
New staff are provided with induction programmes appropriate to their roles and there is a mentorship support scheme for lecturers.
Programmes leading to recognised qualifications are encouraged and supported and complemented with a comprehensive
in-house programme which responds to identified needs as well as support for attendance at external short courses and events.
