your predicted grades are enough to start the application process.

4. The Offer
For most (but not all) of our Further Education (16-18) courses you are not required to attend an applicant interview,
however for some courses you will be invited to attend a one to one interview or group session. In some circumstances we may arrange an interview over the phone.
We screen applicants for 16-18 courses based on the predicted grades provided on your application form against the entry criteria for each course.
If your predicted grades meet the course entry criteria we will make you a conditional offer of entry, subject to the availability of places.
Once an offer has been made you will be notified via a conditional offer letter, which will also include an invitation for you to attend a
faculty briefing event which will give you the chance to meet the course tutors as well as other applicants.
These are held throughout the Academic Year (not during summer holidays).
Following the initial course briefing event/interview, an interview with the Learner Services team may be
required before we can process your application further. Where support is required, once it has been agreed,
an offer on a course will be made, subject to the availability of places.
5. Confirming your place
For 16-18 courses you will be asked to confirm your place when you receive your offer.
All applicants will also be written to in early Summer asking them to confirm their place.
All you have to do is wait for your GCSE results, during this time we will keep you up-to-date with the latest happenings via our e-newsletters.
You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter - Add us today if you haven’t already!
6. Enrolment
Enrolment takes place soon after the GCSE results are published in August. Don’t worry if you didn’t get the grades you were expecting,
our Client Advisors will be on-hand to provide guidance and talk you through your options.
For those applicants with an offer and who have confirmed their place in the Summer, your Personal Enrolment
Pack will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks before the scheduled enrolment day for your course.
REMEMBER
You don’t need your examination results to apply so it’s best to apply as soon as possible as there are limited places on some courses.
