Our newly refurbished South Essex College Beauty Academy now offers 4 beauty
salons, nail bar, wet room with sauna, steam and Jacuzzi we now also have a top
of the range stand up sun-bed. The Beauty Academy, centrally located in Southend
town centre in Queens Road, Southend, is the beauty salon run by South East Essex
College, which trains hundreds of students each year to go out into jobs in the
growing industry of beauty.
Our beauty and complimentary therapy department runs a diverse range of courses
that include beauty therapy, nail technology, anatomy and physiology, massage, aromatherapy,
diet and nutrition, sports massage and Indian Head massage.
At the Beauty Academy, our four newly refurbished salons and nail bar provide a
range of high quality treatments at extremely low prices, delivered by our students
under the supervision of their tutors. Treatments include massage, manicures, pedicures,
nail extensions, waxing, facials, tanning and male grooming to name a few. Beauty
products including Dermalogica skincare and gift vouchers are also available to
purchase.

Opening Hours and How to Book
As the Beauty Academy is a training salon, opening times are variable and treatments
are available at specific times. The salons are closed during school holidays.
