Basildon Campus

Set in spacious and tranquil grounds just outside of Basildon town centre, our Basildon Campus specialises in realistic work environments for a range of vocational courses such as childcare, hairdressing, beauty therapy, motor vehicle engineering, health and social care, public services and sport.

Our trainee hairdressing salons are Wella Centres of Excellence, which means Wella recognise that we offer the highest level of training and links with industry. Students on our animal science courses will work in the animal management centre which houses guinea pigs, degus, a bearded dragon lizard, a cornsnake, chickens and rabbits, or you can learn how to look after dogs in the kennels.

Our comprehensive sports facilities include five-a-side football pitches, basketball, netball, badminton and squash courts and a fully equipped gym. There is also a greenhouse for science students. Free parking is available at the Campus.

Getting There

Basildon Campus is within easy reach of the M25 and all major routes in and out of Essex. Some courses take place at the Eastgate Learning Centre in the town centre and in partnership with the New Campus Basildon Project led by SEEVIC College.

Rail

The town is served by the c2c railway line which runs from Fenchurch Street to Basildon Station. London can be reached within about 50 minutes. The Basildon Campus is a ten minute walk from the train station.

Bus

The bus station is located within easy walking distance of the Basildon train station and operates a service to Basildon Hospital, which is a five minute walk from the Campus. You can find us next to St Luke’s Hospice. Regular services are also offered by Arriva and First National bus services into Basildon Town Centre and the Eastgate Shopping Centre, as well as to Basildon Hospital.
